Hi, I’m Brian Owens, a passionate individual with a strong dedication to the art of Auto Collision Repair and Refinishing. At 46 years old, I am pursuing my dreams at Salt Lake Community College, where I am currently enrolled in the Auto Collision Repair and Refinishing program.

With a GPA of 3.89, I have successfully completed the first two semesters of my program, which covered essential subjects such as Metallurgy/Nonstructural Parts and Non-structural Skill/Application Development. Additionally, I have gained expertise in Structural Analysis/Damage Repair and Structural Damage Repair, enabling me to handle various aspects of collision repair.

As I continue my educational journey, I am currently expanding my skill set in a Fine Arts Welding class. This opportunity allows me to refine my welding techniques, enhancing my ability to restore vintage cars to their former glory.

Looking ahead, I have an exciting lineup of Fall classes that will further advance my knowledge in the field of Automotive Refinishing. Courses such as Automotive Refinishing, Refinishing Skill Development, Advanced Auto Refinishing, Advanced Skill Development, and Auto Color and Design Theory will equip me with the necessary expertise to deliver exceptional results in auto refinishing.

While my primary focus is on vintage car restoration, I am open to exploring other job opportunities that align with my skill set and passion for automotive craftsmanship. I am eager to contribute my expertise to a team that values quality workmanship, attention to detail, and a genuine love for the art of automotive restoration.

Outside of my studies, I am also working towards completing my Associates Degree, which includes fulfilling general education requirements. This comprehensive education ensures that I possess a well-rounded foundation to complement my technical expertise.
